Follow the Flying Fish

The Rite Of Dawn

By David Allaband
March, 2010

Come what may I’ll make my way.
With my heart I’ll always stay.
When mornin’ comes I wake and say,
Twas’ all in fun that glorious day.
Kuz’ when I’m old, life passed away,
I’ll look upon ol’ yesterday and say,
I think it all worked out okay.

This is a song, or poem, or whatever, about making your way home on a morning train. When you’re still wearing the party clothes of the night before and all the commuters know you spent the night somewhere you probably shouldn’t have.
